The Arrive Alive Road Safety Initiative (AARSI) was established by a coalition of private sector companies (namely: Chevron Nigeria Plc, Zenith Bank Plc, First Bank of Nigeria Plc, Diamond Bank Plc, and DHL) to address the country’s severe traffic issues. In 2005, approximately 15,000 fatalities and 28,500 injuries occurred in traffic accidents.
